We are currently looking to appoint an experienced / qualified and highly motivated Arabic language teacher to join our supportive and dynamic team. The position is part time (3.5 hours on Saturdays) based at North Parramatta.

The successful applicant will be delivering Arabic classes for kids on Saturdays from 9.25am to 1pm during school terms.

Essential Requirements
1. Qualification in teaching the Arabic language or equivalent experience
2. Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with difficult classroom situations.
3. Demonstrate an ability to teach using interactive and engaging methods
3. Ability to use the collaboration and document management tools within Microsoft 365 eg Teams.
4. Commitment to deliver the curriculum outcomes, prepare engaging activities and develop healthy relationships with staff, students and parents to maintain the school’s positive environment.
5. Ability or willingness to use software applications such as Canva to develop activities for students.

Complimentary criteria
1. Knowledge of the rules of tajwid
2. Previous experience in teaching at a community language school.
